You are looking for a snug fit but still be able to wiggle it over your knuckle. Ring sizes will be affected by weather so it's best to not be too hot or too cold when figuring out your size!
If you are ordering a wide band ring, I suggest ordering a half size to whole size bigger, this due to there being more surface area making contact with your finger.
